After the quick succession of releases in “Red Primeknit,” “Black Triaxial” and “Snakeskin,” it became clear that Summer 2016 was to be the season of the Superstar 80s sneaker. Now, adidas Originals has unveiled its latest contemporary update to the retro shoe: a new Primeknit model resplendent in a lush rainbow colorway.

The “Multicolor” sneaker sports the brand’s characteristic Primeknit construction throughout the entire upper, one built from knit weaves that truly represent every color in the rainbow. The three-stripe is stitched from black fabric, with a matching black heel tab. A clean white finishes things off for the outsole and shell toe, with the brand logo added to the tongue.

The adidas Originals Superstar 80s “Multicolor” Primeknit is available now through online retailers like Feature Sneaker Boutique.

In related news, adidas has also added a Primeknit release for the NMD sneaker.
