Competition within the eyewear market is rife, so it’s refreshing to see a brand take an innovative and fashion-forward design approach. LURA Eyewear has made an immediate impact, despite only starting up in 2014, their signature look is easily recognizable — you could say they’ve successfully stepped outside the frame.

The latest drop is an all-black affair, with metalwork and surface variations available on the modern frames. LURA continues to use Japanese acetate and Carl Zeiss lenses, only the best for your precious faces.

External metal detailing is LURA’s trademark, transforming classic silhouettes into contemporary statement pieces. The decoration is instantly attention grabbing but remains minimal, flashy but dignified.

As part of the release, LURA has also collaborated with British label Represent, on a matte black version of the flat-top Heaton frames. Three Heaton models are available now with the rounded Miller Highbrow’s slated for release later this month.

Check out our anti-summer style guide for some tips on styling these all-black frames.
