Luxury Italian shoemaker Ferragamo continues to branch into the high-end sneaker market with a collection that looks to the future of sneaker design with high-quality Italian craftsmanship.
Spanning four styles from low-profile sneakers to basketball-inspired high-tops, Ferragamo sneakers are 100% made in Italy with the finest materials and leathers — including the pony calf and dyed ostrich leg appearing in their audacious Nayon high-tops (slide #1 and #2).
Nubuck and leather form the bulk of materials however, including in our personal favorites, the Ground and Glory styles (#3-6 and #7-9 respectively).
Calfskins worked in a variety of finishes combine with more established, high-quality seasonal materials like wool, cotton, and linen. All of which sit on 100% rubber sole units, with every Ferragamo sneaker featuring a removable molded Polyurethane footbed for hygiene and, above all, comfort.
The luxury Italian label built its name in the 1920s as the shoemaker to early Hollywood stars. The label now commands a global presence that is distinctly Italian, based out of the Florence.
