What happens when one of the internet’s most prolific viral content creators drops a new video based on the first-ever viral video game? It goes viral, duh.

Which is exactly what happened when Casey Neistat dropped a new click-worthy video, featuring the star chasing Pikachu around the parks and landmarks of New York City as he plays Pokémon Go in real life. The video had been watched over a quarter of a million times in the two hours after he published it.

Fellow YouTuber Shaun McBride, known as “Shonduras,” also stars in the video. He’s the one running inside the cute costume attempting to evade Casey, and who eventually receives a beating before being “captured.” Check it out above.

Shonduras has also uploaded a behind-the-scenes look at how the video was made to his own channel, which you can see below.
