Our latest partnership sees us team up with COLORS BERLIN, an online music channel that aims to break down the barriers of the musical landscape. ALL COLORS NO GENRES is their main mission – from hip-hop to indie, electronica, R&B and pop, COLORS BERLIN allows artists to present themselves and their work in a contemporary way. We’ve teamed up with them on a series of video shorts in which artists are invited to perform one of their own tracks in the COLORS studio.
Our latest COLORS BERLIN video sees the incredible vocalist and producer double threat Ta-ku performing a very special project. Ta-ku came together with rising Australian vocalist Wafia for a collaborative EP titled (m)median, which drops next week on August 5. They arrived to the COLORS studio to perform the EP’s lead single “Meet in the Middle.”
This EP comes fresh off of several fantastic collaborations between the two singers. They recently created an inspired cover of Estelle and Kanye West’s “American Boy” into a reworked version titled “American Girl.” They also recently had a performance at the MoMA PS1 in New York, which was Ta-ku’s live debut.
Stay tuned for the release of (m)edian next week, and to see where these two are headed next.
Be sure to check out the previous edition in our COLORS BERLIN series with rapper Dillon Cooper.
