Where the runway meets the street

The last time we heard from The Decades, things were in a considerably more dour state. The Philadelphia hat-maker’s Holiday 2015 collection was as characteristically sleek and effortlessly cool as we’ve come to expect from the brand, but it was noticeably more understated and subtle than anything we had seen previously. Well now that summer is here The Decades knew it was time to perk up, as the brand’s latest offering is as sunshiny as it gets.

The line in question is a capsule collection titled “No Bad Days,” and is a collaboration with UBIQ and The Decades’ fellow Philadelphian artist N. Sheikh. The collection features this optimistic title printed on a range of snapbacks and caps, in addition to a batch of T-shirts and accompanying pins.

Aesthetically, the group was inspired by the summers of days past, specifically the boardwalk culture of the ‘70s, which is evident in the acid-bleached caps and faded denim. The T-shirts are even made from a heat-sensitive thermochromic material, keeping you cool as you literally wear fire.

The Decades x UBIQ “No Days Capsule” is available on UBIQ’s online store.
