Following on from the launch of the Q2 earlier this year, Audi is back with a thuggish new “Edition #1” version of its compact Q4 SUV.

The rugged new vehicle comes in a special color shade called Quantum Gray, with the S line package as standard – that means sportier bumpers, side skirts and rear diffuser inserts. It also comes complete with blacked-out C-pillars and mirror housings, titanium trim on the grille and bumpers, and anthracite-finished 19-inch wheels.

The new look continues inside with adjustable racing-style seats and steering wheel, color-adjustable LED ambient lighting, and two-tone black and light brown upholstery in fabric and leather.

Under the hood, Audi Q2 comes with the choice of a 148bhp 1.4 liter petrol (in manual or auto form) or a 1.6 liter diesel. The entry level petrol produces 49mpg and CO2 emissions of 130g/km, while the diesel achieves 61.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 120g/km. Power outputs range from 115bhp to 150bhp.

Prices for the Edition #1 are yet to be revealed, but it’ll be available to order next month with deliveries before the end of the year. Take a look above.

Meanwhile, Porsche gave one of its ugliest cars an incredible new makeover.
