From the land of Palace comes the latest skate brand that should be on your radar. Headed up by artist and skater Louis Slater, “Sex Skateboards is skateboarding and everything you don’t know about skateboarding,” according to the little press information we were able to find out about the brand.

To celebrate the brand’s official launch, UK retailer Goodhood is currently hosting an in-store pop-up, which you can see in the photos above.

Like the sport itself, Sex infuses its products with that indefinable independent element that has made skateboarding such an irreverent subculture for decades. Not tying itself to any particular form of creativity, the brand looks to combine equal parts music, attitude, architecture, late-night sessions, and pranks between friends to develop an outlet for those who understand that skating is about way more than just landing a trick. Although sometimes that’s all it is.

While not much literature can be found around the web about the brand, Sex’s Instagram certainly gives an insight into what Slater and his label is all about. Peep a few choice entries below.
