For his SS17 collection, Pyer Moss designer Kerby Jean-Raymond cited Patrick Bateman, Gordon Gekko and Bernie Madoff as inspirations. None of those names are what you’d really call style icons in any sort of positive way, but Pyer Moss is all about politically infused clothing, and for SS17 that meant subverting those symbols of corporate greed and their Wall Street chic.

The finance bro’s pinstriped power suit was blown way oversized, while striped fabrics made their way into biker jackets, bombers and flowing topcoats (complete with sick sporty side stripes) and trench coats were spliced with yet more biker jackets. Less subtle were the sweaters and varsity jackets adorned with chenille lettering reading “GREED.”
