The Medicom Toy Bearbrick is no stranger to opulence, having been made-over by the likes of COMME des GARCONS, Chanel and Gucci in the past. Now, 37 iconic designers have flocked to Hong Kong and taken turns at revamping the iconic figurine in the name of charity, with Lanvin, Vivienne Westwood, Emporio Armani, I.T, KENZO and Christopher Kane all contributing designs.
Ran in conjunction with the mammoth Harbour City shopping mall, the Bearbricks will be on exhibition to the public from September 19 to October 16. Attendees will be able to purchase special edition Harbour City x Bearbrick collectibles, including an exhibition booklet, poster, postcard and an iPhone case in two different iterations, while Emporio Armani and Max Mara will also be contributing limited edition tote bags.
Once the exhibition ends, each Bearbrick will then go to global charity sale for the first time ever, with all raised proceeds going towards the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation. See the exhibition at:
