Where the runway meets the street

As if rocketing to fame by starring in a hit TV show wasn’t enough for the young kids from Stranger Things, now it appears they may be the next campaign models for Louis Vuitton.

Actors Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, all of whom are still under the age of 14, have appeared on Instagram posing with Louis Vuitton creative director Nicholas Ghesquière. In the caption, Ghesquière hinted that there might be an exciting new project in the works between them, and now speculation is rife that the trio are set to become faces of a new campaign.

The move would make sense considering Ghesquière has already proven he isn’t afraid to break the mould when it comes to casting. In recent campaigns he has picked out video game character Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII, and had young musician Jaden Smith model jackets and skirts from the brand’s SS16 womenwear collection.

Nothing official has been revealed regarding exactly what the “exciting project” might be — McLaughlin merely described the experience with Ghesquière as “amazing” and thanked him for inviting him and his fellow stars to visit the iconic luxury brand.

Stranger Things has already garnered a huge cult following thanks to its its brilliant ’80s pop-culture references, now it appears the fashion is looking to cash in on some of that popularity. Stay tuned for more information.
