Where form meets function

Jay Leno has quite the affinity for automobiles, which is why — of course — he even has his own show, Jay Leno’s Garage. In leading up to the new season launching in November, here we get a look at one of Jay’s most recent adventures. Leno journeyed out to Laurens, South Carolina to meet the man behind the Koenigsegg, Christian von Koenigsegg.

In addition to meeting with Koenigsegg, Jay also had the privilege of driving a $3 million USD Koenigsegg One:1. The powerful One:1 cranks out roughly 1,341 horsepower, as only seven, including the prototype, were built. The Koenigsegg One:1 also features scissor doors, which Koenigsegg refers to as dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors, made from a single piece of ultra light carbon fiber.
