Tune in and turn up

YG joins fellow California rapper Kamaiyah in the official music video for their collaborative track “Fuck It Up.” Kamaiyah is YG’s protégé, as she is also the one responsible for penning his single “Why You Always Hatin?” with Drake.

The clip, produced by The FADER and directed by Chris Simmons, finds the two cruising along Oakland’s High Street.

“The ‘Fuck It Up’ video was about bridging the Bay to L.A. gap,” said Kamaiyah, who moved from Oakland to Los Angeles in the past year. “I wanted to bring the Town out in a positive way and to have fun. I think we were successfully able to convey the message.”
