Hype for Ab-Soul’s new album DWTW (Do What Thou Wilt) is peaking once again after the recent release of his single “Huey Knew,” which is now getting its own music video.

Fittingly shot in black and white, the video features Ab-Soul sitting in front of projections of issues caused by oppressive institutions, all while he spits powerful social commentary on the track itself. The song features somewhat of a ’90s style rap influence, a refreshing take on the genre compared to the trap-heavy beats we’ve been overwhelmed by in contemporary hip-hop.

Check out the video above and keep an eye out for more from Ab-Soul’s new album.
