Although the common trope in Wrigleyville has been “wait ’til next year,” that is all over now.

Fittingly, Nike presented an advertisement after the final out last night which honored the resiliency of the Chicago Cubs fanbase.

Titled “Goodbye to Someday,” we watch as a young Cubs fan envisions all the various possibilities that exist on the diamond and an imagined celebration that has now become a reality in the Windy City.
