Model, musician and dancer Victoria Brito is next up for our ongoing Meet the Muse series.

Brito’s mixed upbringing transplanted her from her home country of Brazil to Miami, then to New York City, where she now lives. Styled in a range of brands like Lyz Olko, Calvin Klein and Burberry, Brito also answered some of our questions below. What was your first big gig?

My first big gig was W Magazine with Bruce Weber and of course my CK2 advertisement.

Who or what are you currently inspired by?

I’m always inspired by Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown and my two favorite models: Iman Abdulmajid and Giselle Bündchen.

Describe your current style.

My current style is high fashion mixed with street.

What is the thing that gets you out of bed each morning?

Music. Just always listening to music or new artists that I haven’t discovered yet.

If you weren’t doing what you are now, where would you work?

I think I would probably be still in school wanting to be a history teacher. I love history.

If you weren’t in your current city, where would you live?

If I wasn’t in NYC, I would live back in Miami because it feels like home. Or London.

Which emoji best represents you?

Either the heart eyes or the face with the glasses because I’m a dork.

Whats the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best piece of advice I’ve ever received was probably from my agent Conor, which was to always be myself and to never be afraid to try new things.

Whats your motto?

My motto? Fuck bitches and get money. I’m kidding! My motto is “I speak for what I see. I stand for what I believe. I strive for what I want.”

What in life are you most grateful for?

My friends Kaspar, Leaf and Daniel, and and my amazing girlfriend Taylor.

What is the quality you value most in friendship?

True honesty.

What album do you currently have on repeat?

Usher’s Hard II Love.
