While some of us have been busy stockpiling on all her Christmas-themed Lemonade merch, it turns out that a far rarer bit of Beyoncé merchandise has emerged. Ted Owen & Co., a London auction house, has just posted a set of tapes containing footage of Beyoncé and her girl-group performing circa 1992. And the bidding currently sits at a cool $3.8 million.
The tapes contain more than two-and-a-half hours of footage of music videos and performances from Girls Tyme, the group the Bey was in at the age of 10. Of course, any true Beyoncé fan will immediately recognize that they have heard of Girls Tyme before, as a sample of their first TV appearance is used to open the track "Flawless" off her earth-shattering 2013 self-titled album.
But for those that don't have $4 million lying around, fear not. The auction house was good enough to give us a little sample of the footage, which you can see below. As you can see, Bey had more game at age 10 than most have in a lifetime.
Visit Ted Owen & Co.'s website for more information on the item.
