Highsnobiety

Despite being released towards the tail-end of summer, it seems that the full liner notes for Frank Ocean's excellent new album Blonde are only just now surfacing. Though he included a list of artists in his accompanying Boys Don't Cry zine launched with the album, the official credits have only come to light in Ocean's recent 24-hour Black Friday merch sale which saw a rare release of the album in both vinyl and CD formats. And naturally, now that it's out there are a few surprises.

It had long been rumored that Kanye West and Beyoncé (both of whom Ocean has worked with previously) were involved in the making of Blonde. Now, with the liner notes, we know this for a fact.

Kanye is credited as a co-author of album highlight "White Ferrari," while that is indeed Beyoncé you hear in the backing vocals on "Pink + White."

Elsewhere on the album, it reveals that James Blake produced three separate tracks, and composer and Kanye-collaborator Jon Brion arranged orchestral sections throughout the record.
