Meet Emma Moore, the latest star of our Meet the Muse segment. Here Moore wears pieces from the likes of Evil Twin and Ksubi, with a few vintage/charity shop pieces thrown in for good measure.

We asked Emma a handful of questions in order to get to know her a little more. See what she had to say below and check out our previous installment with Olena Kets.

Who or what are you currently inspired by?

I’m always inspired by colors and texture. Ava Nirui – she’s so cool and creative, I love her humor. I also adore Nicole Richie both through her Simple Life phase and now.

What was the thing that first got you interested in fashion?

I’ve always loved clothes and the veracity they allowed you to recreate your style and image. I spent a lot of time shopping with my mum and sister when I was youngerl we would always go into vintage stores and op shops because my mum loved them. She’s a bit eccentric in her way of dressing – that gave me the confidence to like and wear anything that caught my fancy.

How has your style changed over the years?

My style has developed gradually, I wouldn’t say I fit into a certain category. I just see something and if I’m drawn to it I wear it. I often get obsessed with things and at the moment that’s denim.

What is the thing that gets you out of bed each morning?

My alarm after I’ve hit snooze 17 times.

If you weren’t doing what you are now, where would you work?

I’d love to work in styling in the future, that’s where I see myself going.

If you weren’t in your current city, where would you live? Also why?

I haven’t experienced much of the world yet. I’m going to central America soon; maybe I’ll just stay there for good.

Which Emoji best represents you?

The horse head.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

My grandmother told me never to wait for an occasion to arise to wear something, because that day might not come and that would be a terrible waste.

Last lesson you learned?

Don’t climb roofs when you’re drunk.

What in life are you most grateful for?

My beautiful sister, she’s my constant support despite my many flaws. How lucky to be born the sister of your best friend.

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?

To fly.

What album do you currently have on repeat?

Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool. My friend just bought me the CD; it’s the first time I’ve used a CD player in a good five years. Also “The Love Cats” by The Cure, not an album but my favorite song at the moment, gets a good five plays a day minimum.

What is your most treasured item of clothing? Why?

I couldn’t pick just one, it’s not fair to the clothes…
