Just when you thought Casey Neistat couldn’t possibly outdo himself again (he snowboarded around NYC, played real life Pokemon Go, showcased a $21,000 airplane seat, and more), he goes and builds a badass drone and uses it to fly himself over the stunning ski slopes of Finland.

The YouTube star is already going viral again with his new video for the holiday season, racking up almost 3 million views in under 24 hours. Neistat explained that out of all the drone manufacturers in the world, none of them are capable of flying humans (probably for good reason) — so he decided to build one.

Dressed as Santa Claus, and riding a snowboard, Casey Neistat clings on to the giant drone as it pulls him up and down the slopes, lifting him 25 feet into the sky. Watch the stunning footage above.

Neistat also recently sold his Beme app to CNN while signing on to create content for the cable network and retiring his YouTube vlog — watch him explain that decision below.

In other news, Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro are set to return in Martin Scorsese’s next films.

Daniel is the editor of Highsnobiety Life. He grew up in north of England and is now based in Berlin.
