Inspired by the environment that surrounds it, Villa Meijendel by VVKH architecten is built on top of a sand dune and constructed predominantly from a combination of wood and exposed concrete.
The entrance sits on the midlevel, nearby an office and two bedrooms. The next level houses a sizeable living room and kitchen. On ground level are a wellness room and the master bedroom. Encapsulated within the dune is a garage and technical room.
All of the materials used in its construction are unpolished to mimic an unspoiled landscape. Concrete, steal, wood, burned wood and anodized aluminum combine to create a truly unique aesthetic.
