Young Thug and Birdman Have a New Joint Album on the Way

In addition to an upcoming tour with Drake, fans of Young Thug can look forward to new material from the eccentric Atlanta artist arriving in 2017, as Cash Money Records frontman Birdman has announced that he and Thugger are releasing a joint album this year. News broke via Travis Scott's .WAV Radio show, as the project will act as a followup to 2013's Rich Gang and aptly be titled Rich Gang 2.

Other news from the interview surrounded Lil Wayne's long-awaited Tha Carter V album, which Birdman confirmed, Drake's unparalleled success, and a Cash Money documentary that is scheduled to release on February 18 via Apple Music.
