British car manufacturer Jaguar has beefed-up its F-Type range for 2018 with high-tech advancements, sportier design tweaks, and two new models — the F-Type R-Dynamic, and the F-Type 400 Sport. The two new models take the total F-Type variants available up to 28, rivaling the mammoth Porsche 911 range.

The F-Type R-Dynamic will be offered with a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, tuned either to produce 335bhp or 375bhp depending on your taste/size of your wallet. It will also be available in coupe and convertible styles (check out the stunning coupe in the Instagram post below) as well as with a choice of an eight-speed auto or six-speed manual gearbox.

The 400 Sport, meanwhile, is powered by the same supercharged 3.0-litre V6 but with an impressive 394bhp. It also comes with an upgraded braking system, more configurable dynamics, and 20-inch dark gray alloy wheels.

Other updates across the range include adding Jag’s Touch Pro infotainment system to all 28 model variants. The system is accessed using the onboard touchscreen and includes standard functions such as navigation and real-time traffic updates.

More interestingly, though, is the collaboration with GoPro. The pair have developed an app that links-up with your camera and adds vehicle data such as speed, throttle position, gear selection, G-force and braking force to real time video for those who enjoy track days, or recording spectacular trips through the Alps, for example.

Prices have yet to be confirmed. Check out the cars above.
