Iconic Italian motorbike brands are teaming up together to create a limited-edition run of exclusive Ducati Diesel Diavel bikes. Both Ducati and Diesel will be making a limited run of 666 models, with this Diavel boasting a 162HP Testastretta DS engine. The news comes months after Ducati announced its first ever Scrambler Cafe Racer, which goes on sale in April.
The conception of the bike was inspired by a “hyper-kinetic dynamism of a post-apocalyptic, retro-futuristic world.” “The details characterizing the Diavel Diesel cannot fail to captivate connoisseurs of special bikes but also people from different walks of life, such as fashion. It’s always stimulating for us to move outside the world of motorcycling and widen our brand’s areas of interest,” said Ducati Motor Holding CEO Claudio Domenicali.
Interest in the bike is sure to spike in the coming months given the legacy of the two Italian brands. The bike doesn’t go on sale until April but it will be on display January 20-22 at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Stay tuned as we’ll be sure to update you when more information becomes available.
