Back in November, Tyler, the Creator announced that he would be releasing a documentary about the making of his 2015 album Cherry Bomb. Recently we were treated to our first glimpse of the project in the form of behind the scenes clips featuring Kanye West, which were (predictably) mesmerizing. Now comes another fantastic clip, this one featuring Tyler becoming BFF's with Hans Zimmer. Watch it above.
And yes, it's that Hans Zimmer, the one who scored Inception and The Dark Knight. Tyler stopped by the film composer's recording studio to enlist a string section for the song "2 Seater," the construction of which concerns the full clip. Some of the other aspects in creating the song captured in the documentary include a saxophone recording session that takes place in someone's basement and stacking red Solo cups into a pyramid because, duh.
The full Cherry Bomb documentary is set to be released on January 30. Watch the trailer below.
In other music news, Anderson .Paak has shared a brief snippet of an upcoming collaboration with Chance the Rapper and it is already amazing. Listen to it right here.
