Calvin Cooksey is getting embroiled in a hefty lawsuit with his own son, Frank Ocean. After seeking an astronomical $142 million from hip-hop honcho Russell Simmons back in 2014 over his portrayal of being an “unfit father” in Global Grind, Calvin Cooksey is suing Ocean for the (still-hefty) figure $14.5 million – for more allegations of the same nature.

According to TMZ, Cooksey is seeking the figure from Ocean for defamation, over a message posted on his Tumblr in response to the Orlando nightclub shootings last year. In the post, he wrote “I was 6 years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a f****t as he dragged me out of a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty. That was the last afternoon I saw my father and the first time I heard that word, I think, although it wouldn’t shock me if it wasn’t.”

Both these compensation figures have been put forward by Cooksey over ruining potential business opportunities in film and music. It’s worth noting that Calvin reportedly hasn’t been a part of Frank’s life since he was 5 years old.
