The Scandinavian style purveyors over at Norse Projects have just dropped their women’s SS17 collection. As always, the brand remains faithful to the enshrined Nordic design principles of clean, casual cool. With the warmer months in view, it’s time to finally start thinking about that seasonal wardrobe refresh.
The Copenhagen-based label’s latest offering for women hones focus on relaxed silhouettes and lighter outerwear with technical qualities that strike the delicate balance between form and function. Standout pieces include a light, ice-white anorak with an untreated finish for a sleek and androgynous update to female outerwear arsenals.
Throughout the entire collection, a resolutely neutral color palette refuses to shy away from the aesthetic codes of Scandinavian minimalism, with plenty of ecru, white and navy. Yet, bold injections of petal pink and canary yellow lend this collection some serene softness.
Since the Danish brand introduced womenswear to its pared-back universe back in 2015, they’ve managed to successfully reinterpret their flair for classic military and workwear-inspired pieces for the modern woman, time and time again.
