Last month, Highsnobiety headed out to Tokyo for a tour of the city’s idyllic Nakameguero district. Here, we hooked up with the guys at nonnative — the Japanese brand helmed by designer Takayuki Fujii. YSTRDY’S TMRRW is a vowelless spin-off label created by one of Fuji’s former assistants, and the latest to emerge from the uber-trendy area.
For its debut FW17 collection, the brand presents a streetwear-inspired take on classic Americana, reminiscent of visvim in some parts. Outlandish, flared trouser legs are complimented by suede Chelsea boots and denim jackets, while accessories like oversized safety pins and belts are used for utilitarian reasons. Other looks go down a sportier route, with striped runners complimented by baggy sweaters and baseball shoes.
Those in Japan can cop the latest range at vendor Nakamaeguro (as seen in the movie), while it’ll also drop online over at COVERCHORD. Look out for it arriving some point in June.
Staying in Japan, fashion house kolor returns for yet another line with adidas.
