M.I.A. is still fresh from the release of last year's AIM, an album that she repeatedly warned would be her last. Whether or not that record is her final full-length remains to be seen, but she certainly isn't through making music. She has just dropped a new song and video titled "P.O.W.A.," and it is frankly her best work in years. Watch it above.

The video, which she self-directed, sees M.I.A. creating visually-arresting tableaus in dramatic landscapes with a troupe of dancers. And, laden over a colossally thunderous beat, she delivers some of the most memorable lyrics of her career. She rhymes "Obama" with "Osama" with "Monsanto farmer," before taunting the combined powers of Rihanna, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande. It's bold, cheeky and unashamedly fierce, like the very best of her work.

Revisit her last truly great video, 2015's "Borders" below.

In other music news, producer Paul White and Danny Brown have shared a wacky video for their new single "Accelerator" starring a brain-puppet. Watch it right here.
