For the latest installment of our Highsnobiety Travel series, photographer Chris Wilson and his girlfriend set out on a road trip across Spain.
They started in town of Alicante, before heading west in the direction of Cadiz and the surrounding coastal villages. “We based ourselves in Vejer de la Frontera; an incredibly picturesque small town located at the top of a hillside with white buildings and 360-degree panoramic views,” Chris said.
From there, the couple had easy access to some of Europe’s most beautiful beaches and romantic villages. It was, Chris said, the “perfect spot to wind-down after a hectic nine months working in New York City.”
After Cadiz, they headed back east to the province of Almeria, famous for the Cabo de Gata National Park and yet more idyllic beaches, before traveling on to the Costa Brava, Blanes and Tossa de Mar.
“It seems that each trip to Spain leaves me yearning for more,” Chris said. “I have already found myself planning the next adventure to its tempting shores, I suggest that you do the same too.”
Stay tuned for the second part of Chris’s road trip through Spain in the coming days.
