Regarded as one of the most slept-on smartphones currently available, OnePlus has announced a limited-edition release of its 3T model in tandem with esteemed Parisian retailer colette.
Revealed exclusively on Highsnobiety, the Chinese manufacturer has shared details of a special all-black edition of its premium flagship smartphone — dubbed the OnePlus 3T colette edition — which will be released in celebration of the store’s 20th anniversary. Arriving in a super slick all-black colorway, the phone features a colette-engraved logo on its reverse side.
Since storming onto the scene at the tail-end of last year, the 3T has carved a niche as an affordable alternative to the iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy S series (hence its “flagship killer” nickname), just like OnePlus’s previous phones have done. The phone boasts industry-leading features like Dash Charge, which utilizes technology providing a day’s power in only 30 minutes, and OxygenOS, its own customized version of Android. With 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM, the last thing you’ll ever need to worry about is slow performance or running out of memory.
Below, you’ll find EmRata explaining the cutting-edge features of Dash Charge in more depth.
“We are constantly striving to provide OnePlus users with the very best in software and hardware. Now we’re introducing this striking black version of the OnePlus 3T with colette, highlighting our focus on beautiful design and the strictest attention to detail,” said OnePlus founder and CEO, Pete Lau. “Our friends at colette understand refinement and good taste better than anybody, so we’re very proud to be partnering with them to offer this special edition of our flagship phone.”
Priced at €479 ($510), only 250 units of the phone will be made available at colette’s store on March 21. For those lucky to enough to cop, OnePlus will be throwing in a set of Bullets V2 earphones free of charge. Get in line for 11 a.m. at:
213 Rue Saint Honoré
In case you miss out, head to OnePlus to cop the standard OnePlus 3T.
Never one to shy away from new competition, Apple is rumored to be announcing new products next week.
