Snarkitecture co-founder Daniel Arsham continues his signature “Future Relic” series following interpretations of the Polaroid camera, cassette tape and many others.

Now utilizing Sony’s Walkman II, which is a portable audio cassette/tape player from the late 1970s — the sculpture made out of cast plaster is redefined in a decomposing state and its suggested excavation date marked at 2079, hence the relic moniker.

With its official dimensions listed at — 5.75 x 5.75 x 5.5 inches — the Future Relic 07 is extremely limited to 500 pieces only.
