Big Sean is a big deal. Not an April Fools joke, the Detroit rapper received the key to his city on April 1, making him the youngest-ever to receive the honor. He was commended for his philanthropic work with his own charitable organization, The Sean Anderson Foundation, which is responsible for implementing a new school curriculum called “Mogul Prep” to teach high school kids about behind the scenes roles in the music industry. According to Big Sean’s Instagram post, he was rewarded for “motivating the city through my music.”

Big Sean dropped his fourth studio album I Decided back in February. Last month, PUMA announced him as their new creative collaborator and global ambassador. He even gave us a tour of his ‘I Decided’ pop up in New York, which you can peep here. Most recently, he featured on a track from Mike WiLL Made-It’s Ransom 2 mixtape – “On The Come Up.” Watch the duo roam Los Angeles in the video below.

In other music news, Gorillaz just dropped a remix of “Saturnz Barz” featuring Popcaan. Listen to it right here.
