Highsnobiety Music went down under to give you an up-close and personal look at a few of the rising music stars coming out of Sydney, Australia. Our second installment follows The Yung Dready Bastrd, a Ghanaian-Australian rapper raised in a predominantly white Australian community on the coast. After local haters mocked him simply for being the artist that he is and even vandalized the house where he lived with his mom, he retained his zen and relocated to Sydney, where he’s now riding the new wave of Australian rap.
