Famed actor/comedian Bill Murray has been know to showcase his musical prowess a time or two over the years. But now, The New York Times is reporting that the 66-year-old Illinois native is releasing an album of covers and literary readings over classical music.

The project is dubbed New Worlds, and it will feature Murray’s vocals alongside cellist Jan Vogler on Moon River, in addition to songs from West Side Story and readings from Hemingway and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

“When they start playing,” Bill said of his band, “the demand is so great that if you are attending to who you are right now, it brings out something that you couldn’t have visualized or planned for.”

New Worlds is scheduled to premiere at Festival Napa Valley in July, followed by a U.S. tour later in 2017.

Not NYC, not LA.
