This summer, LEGO is scheduled to release its newest spaceship design. The toy manufacturer is certainly no stranger to interstellar creations, having released its first Space line of sets back in 1978. Following, LEGO has gone on to build hundreds of space-related packages, with the NASA Apollo Saturn V being their latest.
NASA Apollo Saturn V is not only a rocket, but it is ultimately an entire Apollo mission in one box. The Saturn V is in turn divided into three sections, with the Command and Lunar Modules situated at the top.
The set comes complete with 1,969 pieces, signifying the year the U.S. first landed on the moon. Measuring nearly one meter in height, the NASA Apollo Saturn V is also the tallest toy LEGO has ever made.
You can look forward to the new space set ($120 USD) releasing on June 1.
Now take a look at this tiny LEGO Macintosh that actually (kind of) works.
