Here is the latest entry in our partnership with COLORS BERLIN, an online music channel that aims to break down the barriers of the musical landscape. ALL COLORS NO GENRES is their main mission – from hip-hop to indie, electronica, R&B and pop, COLORS BERLIN allows artists to present themselves and their work in a contemporary way. We’ve teamed up with them on a series of video shorts in which artists are invited to perform one of their own tracks in the COLORS studio.

Whether or not you’ve actually been to South London, allow RAY BLK to introduce you to the borough in her upbeat track “My Hood.” According to the soul siren, there’s no place like home – it’s got the best fried chicken in the city and the comfort of wearing socks and sliders everyday.

If you need more evidence than this video that RAY BLK is on a major comeup, she was most recently tapped for a feature on Gorillaz latest album Humanz on a track called “The Apprentice” and Stormzy lent his grime prowess to the original version of “My Hood” from last year. With international tour dates lined up this summer and an amazing voice with smooth personal style to match, we’re definitely keeping our eyes and ears on RAY BLK.
