Peter Lindbergh captured Pirelli’s 2017 Calendar and the Italian company has named British photographer, Tim Walker to be the author of Pirelli Calendar 2018.
Born in 1970, Tim Walker began his career at Condè Nast, where, collaborating on the creation of the Cecil Beaton photographic archives, he discovered his passion for photography and, over the years, established himself as one of the best known and original photographers in the world of fashion and beyond. Walker staged his first major exhibition at the Design Museum, London in 2008. This coincided with the publication of his book ‘Pictures’ published by teNeues.
Additionally, Walker debuted his first short film in 2010, The Lost Explorer at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, which went on to win best short film at the Chicago United Film Festival in 2011.
Walker will shoot Pirelli‘s 2018 Calendar in an undisclosed location in London next week.
