Design studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro, also known for envisioning the High Line unveils its latest architectural masterpiece — Fifteen Hudson Yards — made in conjunction with renowned interdisciplinary architecture and design firm Rockwell Group.
Hudson Yards located on Manhattan’s West Side, is a burgeoning real estate development that’ll feature a triumph of culture, commerce and cuisine. This 88-story tower is the first opportunity to live in Hudson Yards, as the futuristic city-within-a-city will house the city’s highest residential outdoor space, where you can soak in the views from 900 feet in the air.
In terms of its design, the building is defined by gradual curves that taper into four arcs of glass (referred to in architectural terms as a quatrefoil form), which allows its 285 luxury residences and full suite of sky-high amenities to have spectacular views in every direction.
Offering 40,000 square feet of amenities, the 50th floor is dedicated to wellness which includes an aquatics and fitness center designed by The Wright Fight, a Children’s Imagination Center, a Beauty Bar and many others. The 51st floor is prioritized for private dining suites, wine storage and tasting rooms, a club room with billiards tables, card tables, golf club lounge and more. Finally, at the top of the building will be a one-of-a-kind rooftop oasis that offers some of the best visas in the city.
Furthermore, the building’s location is situated right on the Public Square and Gardens and overlooks Vessel, the interactive landmark by Heatherwick Studio that will be the centerpiece of Hudson Yards, while the beloved High Line wraps right around it to complete the beautiful urban site plan.
