If you’re interested in the history of streetwear, you’ll want to get your hands on this new book. Simply titled untitled, the book spans from 1971 to 1984 and covers the emergence of punk and the origins of Japanese streetwear as we know it.
Designed by Tokyo-based company mo’design inc, it features 800 original streetwear items broken up into nine volumes over 1468 pages.
untitled is released to coincide with an exhibition of the book’s source materials, including original clothing and posters, which is currently on show at The Mass gallery in Tokyo until June 25.
