Tune in and turn up

After the release of his debut album Teenage Emotions last week, Lil Yachty has dropped a new single which appears on the original motion picture soundtrack for the new Dreamworks Animation and 20th Century Fox film, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie — out today.

Titled “Oh Yeah,” the Atlanta rapper boasts on how he’s “too cool” for the game, as the song features fist-pumping techno instrumentals along with deep computer voice, providing adlibs. In addition, it’s worth noting that Yachty is the only rapper on the motion picture’s soundtrack that also includes contributions from composer Theodore Shapiro, and appearances from Adam Lambert, Kevin Hart, “Weird Al” Yankovic and others.

After enjoying the new track above, here’s our in-depth review of Teenage Emotions.
