Philipp Plein has once again set his sights on “Prison Bae,” aka Jeremy Meeks. Earlier this year the model walked in the German designer’s first stateside show, alongside Young Thug and Fetty Wap, and now Plein is using his image as inspiration for his latest ad campaign.

According to the designer, the campaign is “a celebration of the true spirit of this iconic city and a personal love letter to the neighborhoods of New York.”

With the help of graphic designer Joerg Zuber, Plein merged behind-the-scenes and runway shots from his last collection into three collages including images of models Geron, Amandine Renard, Amilna Estevao, Avie Acosta, and of course Jeremy Meeks. The result is intense, similar to a club flyer for any underground NYC party.

With this work, Plein stresses a united love of New York. While he says that each person is a “neighborhood king” of their respective hoods, he also affirms that “from the Bronx and Chelsea to Queens and the Upper East Side, there are no barriers here: music, style, race, gender, everything fuses together.” What’s more New York than that?
