Pedro Almodóvar, the famed cinematic auteur behind Volver and The Skin I Live In has stepped out from behind the camera to pose in front of it for once, all in the name of Prada, of course. The Italian fashion house tapped the Spanish film director to front its latest Fall/Winter 2017 campaign, lensed by longtime Raf Simons collaborator, Willy Vanderperre.
Almodóvar poses with some humorous candor while wearing some assertively off-beat tailoring, all inside Prada’s HQ designed by famed architecture studio OMA. Take a look through the latest campaign images above, and watch the campaign’s accompanying video below in which Almodóvar curiously roams Prada’s hallowed halls in new season wares.
