The BMW R series has been getting a lot of love recently. Just last week, Angry Motors released images of a custom all-black BMW R80 “T63,” while Diamond Atelier built a beastly BMW R nineT Neo-Racer early last month. Now bike fans are being treated to another BMW R custom, this time courtesy of Ironwood Custom Motorcycles.
The updated 1985 BMW R80 merges classic features of the bike alongside modern updates. It keeps the R80’s mono-shock and single-side swing arm and adds a custom alcantara and leather seat, alongside matching tank strap, a Leatherman multi-tool holder and leather grips.
The bike also includes Hyperpro emulsion rear shock, Brembo brake disks, Fehling clip ons and custom LED taillights. See it in all its glory above.
In other news, McLaren’s new 570S Spider, is a convertible without compromise.
