A$AP Ferg has just dropped “Tango,” an unexpectedly emotional track that has the Hood Pope reflecting on the loss of his father and old friend A$AP Yams, whilst channeling his other problems over the fluttering, synth-led beat. Kanobby croons off the songs hook before Ferg steps up to rally off some introspective bars, “Just found out my daddy died for the wrong reasons / Wasn’t the kidney that took him was just the bad treatment.” Listen below.
Last night Ferg revealed the high-profile list of artists that will feature on his upcoming mixtape Still Striving. The heavy-hitting list includes Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, MadeInTYO, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, French Montana, and more. Last Tuesday, the Traplord dropped off three new tunes, first dropping “Nia Long” and “Aw Yea” featuring Lil Yachty before releasing “Furious Ferg,” and “Plain Jane” later that night. Stream “Furious Ferg” below.
