Revered as one of the world’s best, and winner of two editions of the AMD Custom Bike Building World Championship — Belgian customizer Fred Krugger has been chosen to create his interpretation of the Ducati cruiser, which follows up on two other concept bikes based on the XDiavel — the second cruiser motorcycle from the Italian motor company — with the XDiavel by Roland Sands and the draXter by the Ducati Design Center.
With this Ducati cruiser dubbed “Thiverval,” named after a small race track on the outskirts of Paris — the bike has been revamped with extreme attention to detail, while retaining its ties with the XDiavel.
The lines of the bike have been simplified, with the engine now fully exposed, and the superstructures have been completely rebuilt, especially its tank and tail, using varying gloss, matt, and chrome finishes in stealthy black. Additionally, the tail incorporates the exhaust and the seat features a cool rear light to solidify its modern variation.
Presented in 2016, the XDiavel is Ducati’s take on the cruiser concept: performance and comfort, riding pleasure and relaxed journeying, all combined with an award-winning design.
For those of you interested, the “Thiverval” will make its debut at the Ducati stand in the Bikers’ Classics Lifestyle Village — the biggest event in Europe for classic bikes and exclusive classic models — starting, July 1 until Sunday, July 2, 2017.
