Where the runway meets the street

This week COMME des GARÇONS has gone ahead and expanded its successful line of perfumes with the addition of “Concrete.” The new scent pays homage to the original “Concrete Jungle,” the city of New York. Of course the perfume does not smell like concrete, yet the hard bottle design, which reminds of NYC, is kept in balance with a soft scent that one is greeted with, once you open the bottle. The dominating note of the fragrance is sandalwood, and is as such perfectly in line with the other COMME des GARÇONS scents in the Japanese brand’s range. The launch was celebrated today with an immersive experience inside a Brooklyn warehouse. You can pick up the new COMME des GARÇONS “Concrete” scent now from Dover Street Market New York and soon from many more select perfume stores and fashion boutiques.
