Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 label is usually known for its technical sportswear (and dope sneakers), but its latest T-shirt drop is a little more tongue-in-cheek than the brand’s usual offering.
Referencing the fashion world’s over-familiarity with the designer’s first name, the tee features black printed wavy text that reads “you’re Yohji, but you asked me to call you Yamamoto.” The 100 percent cotton short-sleeve raglan tee also includes Y-3 branding on the rear collar.
The shirt is available from select retailers for $165. And remember; it’s Mr. Yamamoto to you.
