Located in the lakeside town of Toscolano-Maderno, Italy, Bergmeisterwolf have masterfully added on to the F Holiday House, which finds the existing building, extension and garden all coming together as one.

The home’s vertical sliding windows are unique in the fact that they can move downward and disappear, while the canopy acts both as part of the house and a canopy itself. To reach the terrace on the canopy, you simply maneuver through an outdoor stairway connecting the existing structure to the garden.

The residence’s original plastered stone facade is now perfectly complemented by dyed concrete surfaces, as you’ll then find the pool residing in the garden, tucked between a lemon orchard and century-old palm trees.
