The second trailer for Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey's new film The Dark Tower has arrived. Set in a futuristic-meets-Wild West world, Elba plays "the last gunslinger" Roland Deschain who is locked in battle with the Man in Black (McConaughey) over the fate of the Dark Tower – the only thing holding the universe together.

The second trailer gives us a closer look at the tower itself, as well as glimpses of the duo's fight scenes, with Elba's character doing everything he can to protect the tower while McConaughey advises him to "get used to the carnage."

The Dark Tower will hit theaters August 4. Watch the latest trailer above and in case you missed them, the previous trailers are below.
